Background

I have a bachelors degree in Information Technology with a minor in Web Development; this includes: six years web development experience, one year supporting professional web hosting (InMotion Hosting), over ten years in desktop publishing, former CCNA – Cisco Networking, computer service, programming in Java Script, C++, HTML, PHP, and some Python/Visual Basic. Four years experience as a Technical Writer. I’m also versed in server and database management (advanced Linux). My strengths are in resolving technical and software related problems in the most efficient manner. I have exceeded at every Information Technology and Information Systems position in my career including providing consumers and businesses friendly technical knowledge with great customer service.

Side Note: I have several years experience from Virginia Western Community College in AC/DC and electronics. Repairing and creating circuits have helped me on my journey in being self reliant and helping others.

Update: Since 2016, I have transitioned out of the IT/IS sector and into managing real-estate in leveraging additional skills (electrical (120/240v), plumbing, non-commercial HVAC (gas, boilers, heat-pumps, hydronics, Geo-thermal), welding, solar, and construction (with past city approved permits)) . I created a business called Kasey Living LLC. and rent homes full time – upgrading and enhancing affordable living for our community. As a landlord, I’m involved in owning and managing rental properties, that includes responsibilities such as maintaining the property, setting and collecting rent, screening tenants, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations. Successful landlords need strong communication skills, financial management, and a good understanding of local housing laws. It also requires addressing tenant issues, handling repairs, and managing vacancies. Overall, being a landlord can be rewarding with proper planning and dedication.

Update Two: For the past few years (since 2023) I’ve been working to increase my mechanical skills and can diagnose and fix every aspect of a gas-only vehicle and engine. The next step will be diesel and older total electric vehicles. I have a mini-dozer and have mastered building and maintaining hydraulic systems.

Side Note Two: I was fully licensed (Virginia) and trained as a GNA/GCNA or Geriatric Certified Nursing Assistant and worked for both Friendship Manor and the Virginia Veterans Care Center (excelled at care). I decided to obtain these skills to assist my aging father in his later years of his life.
